AMARC AP 

AMARC Asia Pacific regional office, which is based in Kathmandu, Nepal closely works with its members and partner organisations across the Asia-Pacific region – South Asia, South East Asia, the Pacific and East Asia, to implement activities aimed at promoting freedom of expression, supporting community development and development of resilient communities.
Community Radio
AMARC Asia-Pacific tends to judge potential members against these criteria, but makes allowances for the legal and administrative restrictions that face many radio stations in this region.
Sustainability 
AMARC is, first and foremost a movement of international solidarity to defend and promote the values of community broadcasting and to build an alternative to the old media models.

How we work

Women Development
The Women’s International Network (AMARC-WIN) is a large assembly of women’s communicators working to ensure women’s right to communicate through and within the community radio movement.
