Gender Policy For Community Radio

An important tool towards achieving gender equality in the radio stations is the Gender Policy for Community Radio (GP4CR) which was developed by AMARC-WIN Asia Pacific and adopted by the World General Assembly of AMARC in 2010 in La Plata, Argentina. It is available in multiple languages.

In August 2015, representatives of the Women’s International Network gathered in Accra, Ghana on the occasion of the 11th World Conference of AMARC (AMARC11). Mrs Birgitte Jallov participated in a panel and she has generously agreed to share her presentation on the roots of WIN.
